Kiss Me Lorena's plot
A brief summary
Tony has been away from the camera for too long.
Seven years of oblivion, after a wonderful kick-started career.
Those days seem now so far and the young film director decides to get back in line accepting an offer from the powerful producer Harry Kassar: making Kiss me Lorena, on the basis of a script written by the daughter of Mr. Kassar himself. Tony believes so much in the project that he chooses to have his old team on his side.
Jeffrey, young executive producer, silent and reserved but incredibly capable, so much that he is now a fixed element in Kassar’s team.
Dave, an actor that with Tony has managed to give his best.
Phil, an undoubtedly talented performer, acclaimed by the critics, but lately below his standards.
Dora, top theatre actress that performs for films mainly for economic reasons.
Liz, Tony’s former partner and currently one of the most talented and most paid actresses on the performing panorama.
Kassar has accepted to cast all the names proposed by the director.
Though, in exchange, Tony had also to cast George and Mel, a couple of young and fit emerging actors that just came out from a reality show and that would be a certain attraction for the teenage audience.
Eight character around a table and a breath-taking script: Kiss Me Lorena. But despite the script, jelousies, old loves and unbelievable twists in the story, everything is bound to end tits up.
